project letter writing

As a greeting card/paper designer, one challenge my business faces is the increased use of email and Facebook in place of hand written correspondence.  Linda, the fabulous designer of à la mode, just launched a wonderful program called Project Letter Writing. She has committed herself to sending out at least one hand written card/letter a month, and she is asking others to make that commitment as well. It's such a joy to receive something pretty in your mailbox from a friend or family member. Let's spread more joy!  I'm in, are you?  An added incentive: if you join this month, you'll receive a free card in the mail from Linda and be entered into a drawing for a card set by yours truly (mixed botanical set shown above).  Yay! Thanks, Linda!

dress up your fridge in the new year

After a busy season of packing hundreds of orders and shipping them all over the world, it's really fun to see the final destination and personal spaces where my work ends up. Photographer Michelle DuPuis of Rust & Sunshine posted this fun way she displays my desk calendar. See the full post here. Love it. Thanks, Michelle!
